Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a holy day of obligation in the Catholic Church. Gus explains that this feast day doesn’t celebrate the Immaculate Conception of Jesus, rather the Immaculate Conception of Mary and explains the Church teaching on why the Catholic Church believes, undeniably, that Mary was conceived immaculately. Later, in honor of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Gus gives away Holy Land Rosaries to listeners who call in.

Also, Bob Dunning calls in to preview the playoffs and give his Heisman prediction. He also talks with Gus about the biggest surprises of the season.

And, it wouldn’t be Friday without a little Prayer Time and. in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Gus prays an intentional Rosary with listeners.

Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us.
