Gus talks about sharing our conversion stories, even with all the warts and sordid stories that came along with it. but he asks at what age is it appropriate or inappropriate to share those type of details, i.e. sex, drugs and rock & roll-type details.
Also, today marks the centennial of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima, following Our Lady’s appearances there. Gus goes over the history of the events that took place and how freedom of religion had been obliterated in Portugal in the years leading up the apparitions. Gus talks about how, to many, it must’ve seemed like the end times but, yet, here are today. Gus talks about how we always have to be prepared for the end times. In honor of the 100th anniversary, Gus later gives away plastic, luminescent statues of Our Lady of Fatima and other items.
