We lost a great priest last night, Fr. Andrew Joseph Apostoli, co-founder of the Franciscan Fathers of the Renewal, who died at the age of 75. For nearly 25 years, Fr. Apostoli hosted Sunday Night Prime on EWTN and was a prolific author and one of the foremost experts on the Fatima apparitions. In his honor, Gus plays his last appearance on the show, May 13, 2015, the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima, where he talked in depth about Our Lady’s six appearances to the three children, Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia, what led up to it and the aftermath, which he detailed in his book “Fatima for Today: The Urgent Marian Message of Hope.”

Also, Fr. Kyle Schnippel, pastor of St. John Neumann Church in Cincinnati, calls in to share his experience as a contestant on the third season of the Great American Baking Show this season on ABC.

And, Gus invites listeners to call in and spin the Wheel of Christmas. We have a lot of gifts leftover that Gus bought on pilgrimages this past year in Fatima and the Holy Land. Callers spin the wheel and get the gift the spinner lands on and, later, talks about the “War on Christmas” and asks listeners if they think there is one.

Eternal rest grant unto Fr. Andrew Apostoli, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
