Then, Catholic author Jon Sweeney calls in to talk about the life and legacy of St. Francis of Assisi. Jon has written several books on the popular saint, including “The Enthusiast: How the Best Friend of Francis of Assisi Almost Destroyed What He Started” and “The St. Francis Holy Fool Prayer Book.”
Later, Gus talks about how his daughter has recently taken on the minimalist approach in her house to prevent hoarding. Gus talks with listeners about hoarding and if it’s OK to throw away things like birthday cards, kids school projects and other things of sentimental value.
