Gus is joined by Walk to Mary Pilgrimage founders Pat Deprey and Tom Schmit. The pilgrimage takes place annually on the first Saturday in May in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area and is a one day, 21-mile walk from the Shrine of St. Joseph to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help. They talk about the history of their pilgrimage, which is in its 11th year, and was greatly inspired by Pat’s pilgrimage to Medugorje, and some of the miracles they’ve experienced through the years. This year, the Walk to Mary takes place on Saturday, May 4th. Afterwards, Gus invites listeners who’ve had a moving experience on a pilgrimage to call in and share it.

Later, Gus goes over some news items of Catholic interest, including the Florida Supreme Court approving a 15-week abortion ban while also allowing a broad abortion amendment, which could enshrine abortion into the state’s constitution, to be added to the November ballot. Gus talks about how vaguely-worded the latter is, which is deliberate. Afterwards, he goes over Washington D.C. archbishop Cardinal Wilton Gregory's criticism of Catholic President Joe Biden’s cafeteria faith on Face the Nation this past weekend. Gregory told host Ed O'Keefe that Biden picks the attractive elements but dismisses those which are more challenging like the right to life. Gus opens up the phones for listeners comments.

Also, Gus reads and reflects on today’s “Meditation of the Day” from the Magnificat. It’s written by the late Pope Benedict XVI and focuses on the celebration of Easter and how we are all living witnesses of Jesus’ Resurrection.

Right on cue, Joe! How about this…
Donald Trump, like Joe Biden and Gus Lloyd, is a highly flawed and imperfect man.
    How’s that?

Gus, you might have more credibility when you bring up politics had you ever spoke out against Trump. He definitely has given you plenty of opportunities.
